Of course! Don’t let people tell you that you shouldn’t study something because of your religion! If you’re interested in something, go look into it!
In fact I know a religious person who does research in astrophysics and Neutron Stars and another religious person who studies pure mathematics.
One of the great things about science is how inclusive it can be – people from many different backgrounds from all over the world all doing research to make everyone’s lives better. I know plenty of religious and non-religious scientists, and regardless of people’s beliefs I have never once seen it be an issue for people trying to do scientific work together.

I should also point out in your question that there is a significant difference between “astronomy” and “astrology”. “Astronomy” is the scientific study of all things in outer space. “Astrology” is more of a spiritual belief of how the universe works.
Very much so. Lots of astronomers (see Chris Waller’s note about the difference between astronomy and astrology) have been religious. There have been many Muslim, Jewish and Christian astronomers throughout history.
