Hi Charlie! The most exciting thing for me is definitely discovering new information about how our bodies work! I love brainstorming new ideas for experiments and testing these in the lab. It is very creative and exciting when you learn new things that nobody else in the world knows yet 🙂

I think that it’s getting to do experiments and use cool instruments at work! It makes everyday different and interesting – and I’m always learning new things!

Having collected data on a specific heavy element (I shouldn’t say as we haven’t published the results yet), but this particular compound needed lots of planning and was highly air sensitive, unstable, so the experiment had to be done at -80 degrees Celsius!Just seeing the data recorded and managing to replicate the data through my simulations has been really fascinating!

Probably discovering things that might not have been discovered before. For example I might discover shipwrecks that have been hidden since they sank hundreds or years ago.

Probably being able to come up with an experiment to answer your questions!
